it's so tempting to convert my residence permit application from that of journalist to circus artist; but these guys have a proven sense of humour by-pass......

to be fair; the circus application is actually easier than the journalist one...it's tempting.....mind you more tempting are options 18 and 19:

16-Residence Permit for the Purpose of a Circus: Documents Required

1. Petition (written on company letterhead, with company stamp and signature of company representative).
2. 2 passport photographs. (5 if this is your first application).
3. Original passport & photocopies of pages in passport showing your photograph and last entry stamp.
4. 1 coloured Declaration for Residence Permit form (İkamet Beyanname Form) (completed using typewriter / word-processor).
5. Photocopy of Residence Permit (if available). Copy all used pages.
6. Visa for Circus, obtained from Turkish representatives abroad..
7. Contract signed between circus due to perform and Turkish partner company
8. Photocopy of Turkish partner company’s Operating Certificate
9. Photocopy of Turkish partner company’s Tax Registration Certificate
10. - Photocopy of entry for the Turkish partner company in the Trade Registry Gazette
11. Turkish partner company's List of Authorised Signatures

NOTE: Only original notarised Letters of Attorney for foreign persons are acceptable; photocopies are not.
